No man loves life like he who is growing up

Oh yay it's February, my favourite month of the year!

Because it's my birthday month! :D And well, there's Valentine's Day too, which makes February extra special :)

I can still vividly remember my excitement upon turning 16, then 18, then 21. Those were the years the thought of growing up thrilled me, because gaining access to age-restricted movies and earning that little bit more freedom was so liberating. And now I'm like approaching my mid 20s already? #gottabekiddingme

But I must admit, that being in my 20s is a good place to be in. It's that phase where I learn to take responsibility for my actions, earn my own keep, and kinda figure out what the world has in store for me. It's that phase where I take ownership of how I want to contribute to society, develop myself, and build my own future. It can be daunting, but it's fulfilling to see how all my years of education and teenage "battles" are shaping me to become who I want to be.

Gonna embrace this last week before I turn a year older! And I musttt get well asap so I can enjoy all the CNY goodies and birthday treats that await me :)
