I had the most lovely weekend. How about you?

Thanks to Jem's thoughtfulness, I spent the weekend with him at Carlton City Hotel! Was really surprised to be whisked off for a staycation on such a last minute notice ;) <3

Staycation Essentials

Tried to pack light and only carried a small backpack with my essentials! Really love the tribal maxi that I bought at F21's sale; it's so light and flowly and pretty! And that gorgeous swim wear is from Victoria's Secret #again. hehe.

Carlton City Hotel

Carlton City's just a stone throw away from Tanjong Pagar MRT. Great location. And because it's only 10 months old, everything looks very new and clean!

The room

Because it's currently the off-peak season, we were upgraded to the club room. Looks pretty spacious and modern yea? The only thing that can be improved is prolly the comfort of the pillows. Were a little too stiff for my liking.

Coffee machine

Our room came with a coffee machine! But nope, those coffee capsules are not complimentary! 

Mini fridge

The drinks in the fridge are complimentary though! We were so happy to spot 2 cans of beer inside hahaha ;) It's the first time I see a mini fridge being so well equipped with free beverages! :) 

OOTD to dinner

Jem told me to dress up for dinner as he wanted to bring me somewhere nice to eat. <3

Haha Jem had to take so many shots of me before I finally settled for this one, albeit it being a little blurry still. Behind every good OOTD lies a very patient photographer hehe :) 

Pool!

Also checked out the pool on the 3rd floor, but it was a little smaller than I expected. Didn't have an amazing view either. Nonetheless, I love dipping myself in the pool!

Am very thankful for this awesome weekend planned by my bb. You are zeeeee BEST! :D

As for my review of the hotel, I would recommend it overall! Great location and great rooms.
