Arirang Korean BBQ Buffet + Durian Dessert

Many thanks to Chongz who intro-ed me to this great place along Liang Seah Street! We were craving for Korean food that day, so we decided to eat our fill at Arirang.

Was very happy to find out that their lunch buffet was only $15.90! And for students like us, we get to enjoy an additional 20% off. #toogoodtobetrue Great for students like us who want to enjoy a good meal on budget.

The menu selection was quite wide; there were pancakes, soups, meat dishes, prawns, side dishes, drinks etc.

Side dish as seen below. One thing I like about Korean food is that they are always generous with the side dishes!

Really liked the kimchi :)

We ordered chicken, beef, pork and prawns for the meat portions. Arirang offers both normal and spicy flavours for their meat!

Prawns were really fresh! :) Can't stand it when I eat powdery prawns.

Kimchi fried rice and sushi were only mediocre. 

Soup was pretty tasty! And as you can tell, they are very generous with the ingredients!

Always enjoy grilling the prawns! But dislike the peeling hahaha. It would have been more awesome if they provided butter in addition to oil to cook the food. I love buttery prawns!

The seafood pancake was yummy too. Very crispy and not too thick!

Our bill came up to $15 per pax after GST & service charge. Really worth it right? :) I would highly recommend this place if you're craving for Korean BBQ but are on a budget. 2 thumbs up for being so value for money!

Headed over to Dessert First, which is just across the road, for some Durian dessert! To all durian lovers, this is a must-try! Can't rmb the exact name of this, but it's their 'recommended' item. So just look out for that! Think they use mao shan wang, & it's just heavenly. :p
