This year's celebration was pretty simple. Somehow as I grow older I'm very contented with simple celebrations. It's a great enough blessing to have my favourite people with me as I grow up.
First up, lunch at Ichiban with my family! We're mega fans of Japanese food, so we dine at Japanese restaurants for almost all important occasions hehe. My set meal below:
Teriyaki chicken which was well marinated! |
Thick sashimi slices (I loveee) |
Always a fan of toufu! |
Ichiban Sushi
Changi City Point #B1-12/13
5 Changi Business Park Central 1
Guins brought me to a new cafe situated along Bali Lane for a bday treat!

Pretty macaroons |
Flavoured Fizz drinks |
Scrambled eggs set |
If you like your scrambled eggs more milky, then you would enjoy this breakfast plate. I also liked that the toast was soft (cos normal bread was used I think) unlike the usual sourdough bread served with eggs at other cafes that is naturally tougher in texture.

Egg's Benedict set |
Poached eggs were mediocre imo. |
Yoghurt ice-cream over honey toast |
Thanks guins for the lovely day! <3
If you're looking for an affordable cafe in town, this is the place for you. Nothing above $15 on the menu! It's also rather quiet (cos it's new I guess) so it's great for studying or simply chilling with friends. For food, the standard is decent but still has room for improvement in terms of quality and variety.

Time spent with Jem on the actual day! He was very sweet to cook a spread for me. And also buy me a sandwich maker (which I wanted!) and my favourite flowers.
Never fails to brighten my day (: |
