Here to talk about my second favourite cuisine (Japanese food will always top the list :p), which is French cuisine! I was only introduced to French food around 2 years ago, but since that first delightful experience, I've been visiting many French restaurants in search of the very best. What I really like about French cuisine is the amount of thought and effort that goes into the creation of each dish. Also, I never leave a French restaurant feeling too bloated; balance of flavours and portions are typically perfect. Not to mention that the fine dining experience and top-rated service usually blows me away ;)

Located within walking distance from Kembangan MRT, this restaurant is truly a gem.
The French Onion Soup was pretty good. There was a generous amount of onion, bread and cheese in the soup. While it's not the best I've had, I would still recommend you to order this.

Currently my new favourite French dish - Escargots! Many people would cringe at the thought of eating snails (which I did at first), but this dish served at Vis-a-vis totally changed my perception. Tossed in a generous amount of butter and garlic sauce, you won't be able to see how the escargots look like at all. Sounds comforting right? Haha. But it was the taste that left me truly sold. The garlic herbs really complement the chewy texture of the escargots perfectly.

Ordered Duck Confit for mains while Jem had the Meltique Sirloin. Loved the tenderness of the duck meat, especially since duck is one of the easiest meat to overcook. The chocolate sauce spiked with blood orange added an elevated dimension to the taste. Yum!

We didn't go for any desserts that time, but will definitely be back again some day to try out some of their bestselling pastries.
