Taipei Day 3: C.K.S Memorial Hall / Addiction Aquatic Fish Market / Raohe Night Market

Continuation from Day 2: http://bouncingmelody.blogspot.sg/2014/05/taipei-day-2-jiu-fen-hotpot-dinner.html

Not going into detail on the transport, but here's basically some places I enjoyed visiting!

Day 3: C.K.S Memorial Hall / Addiction Aquatic Development (Fish Market) / Raohe Night Market

Jem and I decided to wake up slightly earlier to have breakfast on the streets of ximending! Found a stall selling ba zhang and mee sua that looked good.

Mee sua was average but the ba zhang was amazingly delicious! Rice was super soft and the flavour was just divine.

Divine ba zhang! Haha

And being the greedy us, we decided that bfast needed to end with BBT. We wanted to try out as many Taiwanese BBT as possible! But tbh, there's nothing special about BBT in Taiwan. The ones in Singapore taste equally good!

Coco BBT
OK. So we headed to C.K.S with the other couple after bfast!

I just love how much history and heritage the place holds. Always a fan of traditional architecture.

Our friend Li yuan was very kind to take us to a famous Fish market (Addiction Aquatic Development) afterwards! I can never say no to SASHIMI :D

Seafood paradise
Look at em' humongous crabs
That's paradise right here
And another one here
And tadah! Here's my lunch, together with more maki rolls the whole group of us ordered to share. Pretty affordable for such fresh sashimi and sushi! I think I spent like $20 sgd?

Drool worthy
Ended the day at Raohe Night market. In Taiwan, night markets are the highlight of night life.

Raohe Night Market
Tried chicken cutlet for the first time in Taiwan, and it was awesomeee. You can srsly go to any chicken cutlet stall and the chicken will taste great.

Thumbs up to chicken cutlet!
Jem loves the grass jelly he tried. I think 'love' is an understatement.

Is it really that nice??
More food + desserts with my group of friends!!

Beef noodles dayum. Very thick and flavourful broth!
Mango dessert
Went for a dessert recommended on the menu - peanut soup with you tiao. It's supposedly a traditional and popular dessert in Taipei, but I didn't find it special. I guess I just didn't like my you tiao to be so soggy.

Peanut soup with you tiao
Haha so intense
Finally, visited the Rainbow Bridge! It's just minutes away from Raohe Night Market. :) Perfect for capturing some loveydovey photos.

With my guin :D
